Bread I'm Lovin'!
I’ve found a new bread product that I just love . . . Oroweat Multi-Grain Sandwich thins. They are shaped like a hamburger bun but are much thinner and far more nutritious. They are perfect for toasting, for use with grilled hamburgers or turkey burgers (like I did tonight), or for making mini pizzas. They are nice and moist, taste good and are only 100 calories each. Here’s what they look like.

Thanks for that. It seems like when we make veggie burgers that frequently we make up for in calories in hamburger buns, what would we would have spent eating the meat. This is a great alternative. Did you find these at Hy-Vee?
Kat, I found them at Costco where they are in a package of sixteen buns divided between two bags. My mom says they are on sale this week at Hy-Vee for 2 eight packs for $5.
I’ve had these and they are yummy. We use them all the tme in place of hamburger buns. I love the idea of using them for individual pizzas. We have a lot of basil in our garden and I’m going to make a big batch of pesto to use on some mini pizzas. With a little mozzerella, some black olives and a marinted artichoke heart or two, it will be heavenly!
Your version of mini pizzas sound fabulous and I have all the ingredients on hand so may have to try your suggestions this weekend!
