Easy Peach with Blueberries Freezer Jam

Peach with Blueberries Freezer Jam
Peaches have just been fabulous this summer so I decided to make some freezer jam in order to enjoy that peach taste into the winter. I really like blueberries with peaches so decided to adapt the recipe from Sure Jell to include a cup of blueberries with the peaches.
Ingredients
1 C. chopped blueberries
3 C. peeled peaches, chopped
1 1/2 T. lemon juice
2 1/2 C. sugar
1 box of Sure Jell Premium Fruit Pectin for less or no sugar needed recipes
1 C. water
I chopped the blueberries and peaches with a pastry blender because I like the fruit a little chunkier than if I chopped them in a food processor. Place the chopped fruits in a bowl and add lemon juice. Mix well.

Chopped Fruits & Lemon Juice
Place the sugar in a large saucepan, add the pectin and mix well. Add the water and stir well. Place over medium high heat and stirring constantly bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute.

Fruit and Pectin Mixture
Remove from heat and quickly pour the fruit mixture into the sugar mixture. Stir well. Pour into clean containers that have lids, leaving 1/2 inch space at the top for expansion during freezing; cover. Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours until set. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks. Otherwise, store in freezer for up to a year. Makes approximately 6 cups.
