Frosted Chocolate Drops
Frosted chocolate drops are for the chocolate lovers out there! These have a nice cake-like texture with the surprise of mini-chocolate chips and walnuts in each bite. I topped these with colored sprinkles but if you are a nut lover, they can be topped with additional chopped walnuts.
Ingredients
2 1/4 C. Homemade Holiday Cookie Mix
2 T. sugar
3 T. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 T. oil
1 large egg
1/3 C. milk
1/2 C. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 C. chopped walnuts
1 – 13.5 oz. can of chocolate frosting
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Combine Homemade Holiday Cookie Mix, sugar, and cocoa in a large bowl until blended. Add oil, egg, and milk. Beat with electric mixer on low until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
3. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
4. Bake for 7-9 minutes or until done. Cool completely on cooling rack.
5. Frost cookies and top with decorative sprinkles or chopped nuts. Makes 3 dozen.
